<p>After launching its first NFT collection to celebrate the anniversary of the legendary R5, Renault continues its roadmap with a second drop. The new RACING SHOE5 collection will be phygical by combining Collectible NFT and the possibility of claiming a pair of physical shoes.</p>



<h2>Renault NFTs: the R5 series</h2>



<p>To celebrate the <sup>50th</sup> anniversary of the Renault 5 (R5) car series, French car brand Renault released its first NFT collection in December 2022: the <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/r3nlt-genr5" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">genR5</a>. Directly inspired by the design of the iconic car, 1972 (in reference to the year the R5 was put on the market) NFT were sold. </p>



<p>With four different genR5 models and several levels of rarity, these NFTs made it possible to be part of the community but also to access benefits and bonuses in the real world. For example, 5 holders of &#8220;Le Car van&#8221; were drawn to watch tennis matches at Rolland Garros from the VIP Village while holders of &#8220;TL&#8221; were drawn to visit the Atelier of The Originals Renault &#8211; La Collection.</p>



<p>The rarest NFT (Electric and R5 Turbo) holders will have the privilege of being drawn for more exclusive benefits such as vehicle tests or a free mint for an upcoming drop.</p>



<p>This genesis edition aims to draw a link between the past and the present as well as prepare the arrival of a new R5 in 2024.</p>



<h2> The RACING SHOE5 NFT</h2>

<p>For this 2nd drop, <a href="http://bit.ly/R3NLT-nonFungible" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Renault</a> goes further in innovation and the drop will be pairs of sneakers this time. In connection with the design of the R5 Turbo, NFTs that will initially be in digital form can be claimed for their physical clone which delivery is planned on September 2023. </p>



<p>The digital versions of the RACING SHOE5&nbsp; have been designed so that their collectors can know exactly what they will have if they wish to claim them in the physical world. In particular, it will be possible to:</p>



<ul><li>Personalize the RACING SHOE5</li><li>Try them virtually thanks to an AR filter</li><li>Discover them through a 3D immersive eshop developedby Renault</li></ul>



<p>In addition to these interactive experiences, each pair of sneakers will have a digital passport that will contain information related to the RACING SHOE5 such as the production circuit, their origin, the materials used&#8230;</p>



<p>To have this information in an instant, an NFC chip will be present in each pair and it will be enough to scan the chip with a smartphone to mint the NFT containing the digital passport. </p>



<h2>Racing Shoe5 drop information</h2>



<p>The drop will take place in Renault&#8217;s immersive store which will be online on the day of the drop and will cost 265 euros (about $287) per NFT. It will be possible to pay by credit card or crypto and Gen5 holders will be able to mint 48h the dirty public. Here is the agenda of the sale:&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last year, the Non Fungible Conference was a forerunner regarding the place of digital art in an NFT event. Entire rooms and floors had been set aside to exhibit digital artworks.</p>



<p>For this coming event, more rooms have been reserved for art exhibition and the NFT ticket is called the <a href="https://avantgarde.nonfungibleconference.com/p/nfc-presents-the-artists-behind-the" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NFC23 token</a>, a 3D artwork created by two legendary artist: <a href="https://twitter.com/Coldie" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Coldie</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/carlosmarcialt" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Carlos Marcial</a>, part of co-Editors Cult of Crypto Art.</p>



<p>In the first edition, the curators were the organizers. This time, the holders of the first edition of the NFC who were able to propose and vote for the artists exhibited at the event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>NFC breaks the rules by banning panels from their festival-style schedule.&nbsp;The radical switch to say <a href="https://avantgarde.nonfungibleconference.com/p/bye-bye-panels" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">bye-bye to the boredom of panels</a> will celebrate guests through new formats such as community talks, art battles, debates, talent fair, podcast, music performances and masterclasses.</p>



<p>The event introduces the <a href="https://avantgarde.nonfungibleconference.com/p/nfc-introduces-blind-talks-what-you" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blind Talks</a>, an invitation for undoxxed artists and collectors to speak on stage, for the first time ever for some of them.</p>



<p><br>Expect exclusive content through a short movie, massive projections in a 600 sqm room enhanced by music, voices and lights. followed by a Q&amp;A by these artists themselves. They will be hidden and physically present at the same time.<br></p>



<p>Among the anonymous actors, <strong>Muratpak, Cozomo de Medici, Mr Misang, Hackatao, Pascal Boyart, Basileus and WhaleShark</strong> already confirmed their presence to this panel format.</p>
