How to extract NFT data from NonFungible.com?

Many of you regularly ask us for data about NFTs and we do our utmost to respond to each of your requests, but did you know some of our data is readily available for free on our site?

Here is a short tutorial to explain how to extract data from nonfungible.com!

Go to “Market History”

The first step is to go to the market tracker page. Here you will find all the latest NFTs sales.

Now let’s take a closer look at this page. The images attract the eye quickly, the “top sales (7 days)” represents the last biggest NFT sales over the last 7 days. 

Just above are the general market statistics:

• Number of sales
• volume USD
• number of active wallets
• Sale of the primary and secondary market
• Primary and Secondary Market USD Volume
• Unique Buyers and Sellers

It is these statistics that will interest us. As a reminder, all the sales we display are ETH “on-chain”, that is to say that we do not display (for the moment) the sales that took place outside the blockchain.

Click on one of the statistics

Whether you click on the small box at the top right or directly on the statistic, it will bring the same result: an enlargement of the graph and more details. For this tutorial, we will download the number of total sales since the beginning of the year.

After clicking on number of sales, we will see the sales history over a given period.

By default, the last three months will be displayed with a reference scale of 7 days. The data shows sales over the last 7 days from a specific date.

It is possible to change this scale to have a daily or monthly frequency but this will only change the visualization.

Choosing the date

There is still an important detail before downloading the desired format: the date. In the image above, the uploaded data will only take into account the period from July 8, 2021 to October 8, 2021.

We have wanted the data since the beginning of the year. Let’s change that by clicking on the date!

Now, we’re ready to download the data.

Choosing format and downloading

In the upper right corner, you will see a hamburger button. By clicking on it, several options will be proposed.

The first two options are used to enlarge the chart even further or print it. It is possible to download the graphic directly in an image format or vector if you want to customize the curve.

Finally, it is also possible to download the data directly in .svg or .xls to make deeper analysis. For this example, we will choose the jpeg option, which should give this result:

In the examples above, these are the total sales that we extracted. Be aware that it is possible to have this data for each segment separately.

Just choose the desired segment and the downloaded data will be adapted according to your choices!
