When it comes to promotion, NFTs can be a very convenient way for brands and projects to get noticed. Millionpieces.io wants to put in place a whole system to achieve this.
With the increased ease of being able to access NFTs as well as increasingly accessible user interfaces, the number of use cases for NFTs is multiplying. Among the as of yet, little adopted use cases that show great potential are NFTs in marketing.
In recent years there have been several experiments within the marketing space but at that time the different projects were more experiments intended to try out what was possible to do with the blockchain rather than a real value proposition for marketing.

The Millionpieces.io project was launched in April 2021 but as seen above, the concept dates back to the beginning of the 2000s when it was possible to buy pixels from a grid on a site and put it online as an advertising insert.
At this time, several difficulties arose, particularly regarding the veracity of information that could appear in these advertising inserts but these old difficulties can now be solved with NFTs!
To achieve this, Millionpieces.io decided not to re-enter the market with a simple website offering advertising rectangles but rather a layer over the entire world map, divided into 10,000 individual segments. These 10,000 segments were then broken down into 10,000 to obtain 1 million available slots.
You guessed it, these million slots are NFTs that will be available for purchase during a presale that will take place on June 5, 2021.

So, how will this breakdown be carried out? It’s a collection of 10,000 NFT’s of 163 Country NFT’s and 20 City NFTs. As countries and cities do not all have the same area, some of them therefore will have fewer available plots.
Even if the initial price is the same for all the locations, not all will have the same value in the future… Moreover, it is possible to add links to social networks as well as a link to any website. Another element to consider is the possibility of merging these locations into a larger one in order to be even more visible to the world.
There is no doubt that initiatives to promote a project in a decentralized manner and with global visibility, accessible by anyone with a crypto wallet, will continue to emerge in the future.
The initiative led by Millionpieces.io is therefore part of a larger scheme that will interest brands but will also perhaps participate in the emergence of artists or new projects that will want this kind of visibility.
